Since 1988, Project Marketing has worked closely with clients to identify and develop media opportunities in both the trade and general business press. These efforts have involved extensive contact with dozens of editors, particularly in the business-to-business arena, and have resulted in many successful and productive placements.

Virginia Simon, founder of Project Marketing, has been handling public relations and marketing projects for clients since the firm's inception. Ongoing and project assignments include press releases, media contacts, articles, newsletters, and various other writing assignments. During this period, hundreds of articles have been published on topics ranging from marketing, management, banking, and insurance to legal matters and health care. These articles have been written as part of publicity efforts for clients as well as "on-assignment" for regional business publications and national trade magazines.

Ginny is on the Communications Advisory Board of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the March of Dimes, is a member of the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA) and the Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA), and serves on the Board of Advisors of the Insurance Media Association.

Linda Barba comes to Project Marketing from Harte-Hanks Direct, where she held the position of Corporate Communications Director. Linda has 17 years of experience in the fields of communications, public relations, and direct response marketing. She has also held several other marketing positions including senior copywriter and account executive.

Linda's strong suit is combining effective communication skills with an extensive knowledge of direct/database marketing to truly understand the audience to which she is writing.

Linda earned her B.S. in Communications/Advertising from Rowan University. She is a long-term member of the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA), having served on several committees and the Board of Directors, is a member of the Professional Insurance Marketing Association(PIMA), and is active in civic and philanthropic endeavors.
